Description:

The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Grand Sport was the pinnacle of Alfa Romeo’s sports car range in the early 1930s. Introduced in 1930, the Grand Sport combined advanced engineering with lightweight coachwork, delivering exceptional performance both on the road and the racetrack.

Powered by a 1,752 cc twin overhead camshaft straight-six engine, often paired with a Roots-type supercharger, the Grand Sport produced over 100 bhp and could reach speeds close to 95 mph - remarkable for its time. Designed by Vittorio Jano, the chassis was agile, well-balanced, and perfectly suited to endurance racing.

Our example wears a sleek, hand-crafted Zagato body, renowned for its aerodynamic curves and lightweight aluminium construction. Zagato-bodied 6C 1750s were among the most competitive sports cars of their day, achieving legendary victories in events like the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio.

With only around 250 Grand Sports built between 1930 and 1932 - and even fewer with Zagato coachwork - this car stands as a rare and beautiful example of Alfa Romeo’s golden era, blending Italian design artistry with motorsport pedigree.
